No Lady and Her Tramp

No Lady and Her Tramp
by Kristie Leigh Maguire and Mark Haeuser
Adult Romantic Comedy

Available as an ebook purchase HERE.

"HOT! HOT! HOT! Down and dirty, and one of the funniest books I have read in a long time. The steamy, very descriptive sex in No Lady and Her Tramp puts Harold Robbins' books to shame. The one thing Mr. Robbins' books did not have is the humor that illuminates in this work of art." - Bobby Ruble, author of Have No Mercy

Book Description:
President Park is the trailer park to top all trailer parks - and the residents are the most outrageous people you will ever meet. Beth Ann Dixon buys a computer and decides to write a steamy erotic novel. Her husband, Billy Ray, can't do much of anything right. Janet Higgins is the resident Peeping Tom. Troy Finkmyer is the guy we all love to hate. Everybody gets into the act and there are showdowns all over Grapevine - Grapevine, Kentucky that is. Shirley Snodgrass, the local gossip columnists for the Grapevine Gazette, records it all in her column, I Heard It Through The Grapevine.

"This is one of the few books I’ve read in recent years that has literally made me laugh out loud. It also made me think that my own 10-year stint as a mobile home park resident was positively boring, compared to the adventures of Beth Ann and Billy Ray. Yet this comic novel has its serious moments, too; and many of them are quite touching.

The authors have done something I love in humorous fiction. They’ve taken familiar (even hackneyed) stereotypes, and then deftly fleshed those stereotypes out into genuine, believable individuals. The result is characters about whom readers can't help caring. Even while also laughing their heads off!

Don’t miss this one. It is priceless." - Reviewed by Nina M. Osier, Published Author

Adam and Eve versus Barnes & Noble

I have run across many strange things in my promotional efforts with my books but I think the strangest I have come across was when I was in St. Augustine, Florida recently.

I saw a Barnes & Noble store while touring St. Augustine so I dropped in to see if my books were on the shelves there. I like to do this in my travels across the United States. The little guy behind the Customer Service counter looked up Kristie Leigh Maguire in his computer and found my titles, Affairs of the Heart and From the Far Side of the Sun. Alas, neither of the titles were in stock at this particular B&N store. I asked to speak to the manager to see if she would order a couple of copies of each title to stock in the store. The manager readily agreed to order 2 copies of each title to see how it would go over there. I thanked her and left some of my promotional material with her to give to the customers.

I have always believed in promoting "outside the box" so when I saw an "adult store" with the name of Adam and Eve, I thought how perfect is this for carrying my novel, Affairs of the Heart, which is an adult sensual or erotic romance. I went into the store with my book in hand and asked to speak to the manager. I told her about my book and asked her if she would buy a few copies to carry in the store. The first thing she asked me was if my book was available at the Barnes & Noble store in St. Augustine. I proudly told her that yes, the manager had just ordered a couple of copies for stocking. She told me that in that case, no she couldn't buy my book for the Adam and Eve store. I asked why. She replied that the customers would just go buy it from B&N instead of buying it there. This made no sense to me but that is what she said. When I pressed her further, she said she would take it up with her boss but that was the policy and she doubted he would change it for my book. I left my promotional material and my card with her and asked her to call me if her boss changed his mind. I received no call so I can only assume that he didn't.

I browsed around the store for a bit, looking at movie titles and other things...LOTS of OTHER THINGS. When I left the store and started to my vehicle, there was a guy sitting in his truck which was parked by my vehicle. He called me over. I remembered seeing him in the store so I went over, with my book in my hand. He asked me if I had a book that I was selling. I replied that yes I did and that I was the author. He asked to look at it. After looking at the cover and flipping the book over to look at the back, he said he wanted to buy it and asked how much it was. I told him $24.95. He asked would I take a credit card and I said no. He took out his wallet and offered me all the money he had left in it, which was considerably less than the retail price of the book. I put on my "thinking outside of the box hat" and told him that I would sell him the book, and autograph it, for the money he had left in his wallet if he would spread the word about the book and the fact that it could be purchased at the local Barnes & Noble store. He agreed and we made the transaction with both of us coming away happy.

There is more than one way to skin a cat!

Are You Lonesome Tonight?

Midnight Blue Velvet
By Kristie Leigh Maguire

I lie in my bed waiting for the darkness to become complete. I am alone. My bed is too big, too lonely.

Behind the eyelids of sleep, I find the darkness that I crave, that I long for. It stretches out before me into infinity.

I roll over in my bed. My hand stretches out as I turn. I feel the warmth of his body lying next to me. He is here. I am no longer alone.

He takes me into his arms and holds me close, snuggling. He whispers sweet nothings into my ear and his hot breath makes my body tingle. I feel goose bumps along my nerve endings. I cuddle into his warmth.

His hands caress me, his fingertips rough from work. Softly, gently he touches me. He molds my body with his hands. I cuddle closer. I long for the warmth of his body.

My insides are fluid. I am melting against his warmth.

He kisses me, his mouth soft and tender. Sweet. His warm breath mingles with mine. I shiver.
I snuggle closer to his body, breasts pressed against his chest, soft against hard.

His hands mold me, pulls me into him. I am fluid and melting against his hardness. I quiver.

I open to him.

He fills me. He is hot. He is hard. He is life.

I am soft. I am hot. I am filled.

We move together, slowly, gently, and softly. We are life. We are hot. He kisses me. His tongue brushes against mine. I taste it. It is sweet. It is hot. I reach down and feel him as he moves in me. We are wet. We are hot.

He pulls me into him closer. I put my leg over his body and draw him in as he lies next to me. We are moving together. It is sweet.

I move with him. My body quivers against his. I strain to him trying to get closer. He pulls me over onto him. I look down at him and smile. I am alive. I am hot. I want him. His warmth has given me life.

I lean down and kiss him, no longer gentle. I need him.

I feel with my hand where we are joined, bodies together, straining against each other. I touch his face. He smiles. He takes my finger into his mouth and tastes our juices. I put my finger in my own mouth. It is sweet. It is salty. It is us. We are hot. We need each other. We are alive.

He takes my hips with his hands and guides me as I move over him, riding him. He hips rise up to meet me as I move with him. It is not enough. I want more.

I roll off him and lie on my back. He rises up on his elbow and looks at me. I guide his head down to my thighs in a silent plea. He nuzzles me and kisses my belly with soft little kisses. He parts my legs and his tongue finds me. I move against his tongue. I put my legs over his shoulders and pull him closer, loving the sensation of his tongue moving against me. He puts his finger into me as he licks me with his tongue and I am driven wild. My whole body is on fire. I hear myself gasp for breath as he drives me closer and closer to the edge, that sweet edge. I grab his head with my hands and cry out as he pushes me over the edge and I am falling into the darkness, that sweet velvety darkness of midnight blue.

He catches me as I fall. I am not alone. He is there.

He holds me close in his arms and whispers sweet nothings in my ear.

I pull him to me and over me. I part my legs. I am open to him. He enters me. He is hard. He is hot. He is life.

I put my legs over his and pull his hips into me as we move together, gentleness forgotten. We need each other. We are hot. We are wet.

I rake his buttocks with my fingernails and he cries out and pushes into me harder, faster. I welcome him. I need him. I strain to meet him. I kiss him, hard, tongues thrusting together. He is quivering against me. Our bodies blend together.

We are hot. We are wet. We are fluid. Our juices flow together. We are caught up in sensation, bodies straining together in our need. We are nearing the edge together, closer and closer, as we drown in sensation.

We are there, over the edge. Falling together into the darkness, that sweet darkness of fulfillment.

We are filled. We are fluid. We are sated.

We are together, my dream lover and I, in that dark blue velvet of midnight. We cuddle, snuggling into each other’s warmth. We are alive. We are not alone.

Jay Leno Isn't The Only One Writing His Own Material.

Has the writer's strike left you with nothing to watch?

I don't know about you but I'm getting tired of watching reruns on TV because, due to the writer's strike, the programs have run out of new material. Even the late night shows, such as Jay Leno and David Letterman, suck. I was watching Jay Leno the other night. His guest was Howard Stern, the shock jock. Oh I got such a thrill out of watching this little segment. NOT!

I am here to rescue you from the boredom. I am a writer and I am NOT on strike. Have a look at this video book trailer for my erotic romance, Affairs of the Heart. Heck, if you really want something to do, then ORDER THE BOOK and READ. Yes, I said read. You know, that old fashioned thing we all use to do before we got hooked on TV and movies. I'll even help you out financially. Amazon.com is knocking 24% off the retail price of the novel. I'll even supply you with the direct order link where you can PURCHASE the book. ORDER HERE.

Oh, by the way, the video is free.

Secondary plot twists add to the suspense as Marcie's life becomes more and more entangled with her two loves, Steve and Jim. Her climatic decision comes down to physical desires and emotional well-being played against spiritual considerations and the stability of a long-standing marriage. Her decision may surprise you.

An Excerpt from Desert Heat

The kiss turned passionate as his tongue tangled with hers. His hips ground against her. She moaned and her knees went weak as she felt his erection pressing against her. She could feel how hard he was. She reached down, stroking him through his slacks. He slipped his leg between hers and she rode it as she stroked him. She took his hand, put it on her aching breast and he pinched her nipple through her bra and dress. She was wet and aching for him. They both were trembling as they strained to get closer to each other through the barrier of their clothes. They were on fire with desire.

“Marcie, we’ve got to stop,” Jim groaned in agony as she stood trembling in his arms. “What if somebody knocks on the door? If anybody walks by outside, they can see us through the windows.”

“Oh God, Jim! I want you so bad I hurt!”

“I know, baby, I know. I do, too,” he whispered. “I didn’t mean for this to happen when I called you in here. I can’t believe things got out of hand so fast.”

“It’s like putting a match to one of the creosote bushes out in the desert,” she whispered back. “Just a little spark and suddenly there’s a raging inferno.”

He hugged her tight for a moment longer, and then stepped back. He grinned at her. “Your face is all flushed, sweetheart, and you look like you have just been very thoroughly kissed.”

“I have just been thoroughly kissed, Jim,” she smiled back at him. “I can’t go back to my office looking like this and I don’t think you want anyone seeing you like this, either,” she laughed as she ran her hand over the telltale bulge in his pants.

He looked down at himself and laughed. “You’re right. One look at us now and the game is up.”

Excerpt from Cabin Fever

She lay back in the fragrant bubbles. Her nerve endings tingled as she ran her hand lightly over her body. She caressed her breasts, gently pinching the nipples. They peaked into hard little buds. She ran her fingertips teasingly down her belly, touching herself between her legs.

Oh, that feels good!

She gently massaged that sensitive little nub of flesh. She closed her eyes, fantasizing that it was Jim’s hand rubbing her moist hot center.

Oh yes, my love, yes! That feels wonderful!

Soft lips kissed her and she moaned.

Yes, yes, kiss me, Jim. It’s been so long, baby!

Jim’s hand continued to caress her sensitive little nub as he kissed her, his tongue tangling with hers.

Suddenly hot lips claimed her nipple, sucking gently. Is that you, Steve? Oh, yes, I’ve missed this so much!

Jim nibbled her ear, blowing into it softly as he slid his finger into her, in and out, in and out.
Yes, like that, honey! Oh please don’t stop, I’m almost there!

Her climax was building. She was right on the edge. Steve’s mouth left her breast. She felt his tongue on her sensitive little nub as Jim’s finger continued sliding in and out. Steve flicked her hard little nub with his hot tongue, pushing her over the edge of the cliff.

She gasped as she fell into the dark void below. Her body trembled as her climax flowed over her with tiny little ripples.

She softly floated back down to reality, lying still and relaxed in the hot strawberry scented water.
